Day 1: Frankfurt to Kronberg

Our journey kicked off with an early morning landing at Frankfurt airport. Eager to explore, we headed straight to downtown Frankfurt, wandering through the historic Romerberg and crossing the iconic iron bridge to Sachsenhausen.

A delicious lunch at Restaurant MyFrankfurt fueled us up for the day ahead.

Next, we visited the lively Kleinmarkthalle, grabbing sandwiches for a planned hike. With provisions in tow, we drove north to the charming town of Kronberg and checked into the cozy Hotel Viktoria. In the late afternoon, we strolled around the Schlosshotel, only to discover it was private property for guests only. Undeterred, we returned to our hotel for a few relaxing drinks.
