Karlovac & Opatja

Day 2

We ordered a car out of Zagreb early. Frist stop was Karlovac where the biggest Croatian brewery is. Unfortunately the brewery is not open to the public but we had a beer by the river and saw a cute town.

After Karlovac we went on to the seaside town of Optatja for lunch and shopping. This was our first glimpse of the Mediterranean. We had lunch along the water then we moved on to get to Pula in time for dinner on a rooftop overlooking the arch. I got to try their signature black risotto. It was good the first couple bites but then became over powering.
