Our initial day in Orlando commenced with an early morning flight. Upon landing, we quickly made our way to the renowned Hard Rock Hotel, a place that promised not only comfort but also a vibrant atmosphere infused with music history. We arrived before lunchtime, allowing a head start on our adventures.

After checking in, we decided to enjoy a quick meal at one of the hotel’s dining options. With our hunger satisfied and our energy levels replenished, we eagerly set out to explore the wonders of Universal Studios. Hind sight is 20/20 we should have grabbed lunch at the CityWalk instead.
Pool Hopping
One of the unique perks of staying at the Hard Rock Hotel is the ability for guests to enjoy pool hopping among the various hotel properties in the area. This feature adds an extra layer of fun and relaxation to the stay, allowing us to experience different atmospheres without having to travel far. Our favorite swim destination was undoubtedly the Cabana Bay Beach pool. This vibrant pool area was not only expansive but also featured a lazy river. The sandy "beach" area created a delightful environment where we could lounge and enjoy the warm Florida weather.
The 50s atmosphere of Cabana Bay Beach was particularly enjoyable, with retro decor and playful elements that transported us back in time. As we prepared to leave this delightful oasis, we couldn't resist stopping by the Malt Shoppe, where we indulged in some delicious spiked milkshakes. These delightful treats were the perfect way to cap off our poolside experience, combining nostalgia with a refreshing twist.
From the 50's to the Pacific
Our next stop was the stunning pool at Loews Pacific Resort, a place that quickly became our favorite overall atmosphere during our stay. As we approached the pool area, we were immediately captivated by the beautifully designed surroundings that blended tropical elegance with a subtle Asian influence. The architecture and decor featured serene water features and lush greenery that created a tranquil oasis. The ambiance was chic yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot to soak up the sun and until our luau started.

One of the highlights of our wait was undoubtedly the gigantic margaritas that were served poolside. These refreshing drinks were not only visually impressive but also incredibly delicious, truly a delightful way to kick off our vacation.
Guests are often encouraged to participate, inviting everyone into the experience. Imagine swaying your hips to the rhythm of the drums and feeling the energy of the crowd—it’s moments like these that truly embody the spirit of Aloha!
